A longtime member of the Washington DC business community, Delane Rouse founded Rouse Photography Group in 1997. Prior to that, he received a degree in Textile Materials Science from North Carolina State University in 1995 and worked as a Research Scientist for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, then several years as a Development Engineer for one of the premier plastics suppliers in the US.
Since opening this professional photography studio in 1997, Delane has photographed a long list of leaders in business, government, and sports.
Including George W. Bush, Eric Holder, John Kerry, Michelle Obama, James Comey, Janet Yellen, Tom Brady, Nikki Haley, and dozens of other noteworthy individuals.
The extraordinary caliber of his portraits is due in part to his technical background. He has a remarkable ability to turn data points about quantity and quality of light, light modifiers, color, color temperature, and pixels into great professional headshots.
